The Black Tie Event for the Diamonds & Corporate
Directors was quite an experience! |
| |
We were met at the airport
with stretch limos and taken to the finest hotel in Salt
Lake City. We went to dinner at Cucina Nassi, an amazing
Italian place with delicious food and opera-singing
waiters. |
| |
Weeks before the event,
all of the Diamonds and Corporate Directors were asked
to vote on a number of categories like Inspiring Team
member, Trainer of the Year, Driver of the Year … well
this year our very own NEW Corporate Directors
Silvana Kurtin and Nando Gatti from Italy were awarded
“Emerging New Leaders of the Year”! BRAVO! |

Then we were in for
quite a surprise... After dinner, all of the
Diamonds were taken to OC Tanner jewelry store, for a
scene right out of a Hollywood movie. The store took $28
million to build in an architectural gem that was
formerly the Salt Lake Public Library. The outside has
been restored to its original 1905 splendor, and the
inside is simply sublime. Three levels of some of the
most unique and spectacular jewelry, watches and art you
can find anywhere in the world. |

The store actually won't
open for a week, but Agel arranged a private shopping
experience for the Diamonds. And to make it really
delicious, Agel CEO Glen Jensen handed out gift
certificates to everyone from $4,000 to $30,000 each!
The theme was: Diamonds for Diamonds! |

Thursday, all Diamonds
and Corporate Directors were invited to a private
luncheon with Dr. Alan Ashton, one of the founders of
Ash Capital. It's not often you get a chance to dine
with a billionaire. It was a great experience and
wonderful to see his belief and commitment in Agel. He
spoke to the group about the early formative days of
Word Perfect and talked about the many parallels with
Agel. Before he sold it, WP was doing $700 million a
year in sales. He challenged us to beat that number with
Agel. And of course we will. |

Our Thursday Night
Feinstein Network Reception in the Presidential Suite of
the Hilton Hotel was fantastic opportunity to
recognize and mingle with top leaders and teams from the
USA, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, UK, Ireland,
Vietnam, Thailand, Peru, Portugal & Brazil and many of
the Agel Corporate Executives who stopped by to say
hello and meet the teams! |
