I began taking L-arginine in November, 2007. After a few weeks people who know me well began commenting on how good my complexion looked. They also noticed that I lost a few pounds. I began to feel more energetic. I have had knee problems for years. Some days my right knee hurt so badly, I could hardly walk. I often would take pain killers. After a few weeks, I began to feel less pain in my knees, until it was gone. I also injured the knuckle of my right index finger. For 17 months I could not close that finger tightly. The joint was swollen. I realized a few months ago that I could use the index finger without pain, and the swelling is gone. The knuckle isn't loose like it was for so long. Another thing I realized right away was my ability to go into deep REM sleep every night. I've always slept fairly well, but I would toss and turn often. I would sometimes sleepwalk. Now I have such vibid dreams and sleep even more soundly than before - like when I was a kid. This alone is a great advantage.
