My name is Rob. I am
a Team Member of
Agel since june of
06. I have had an
health issue for
many years until May
of this year. This
condition, I have is
not life
threatening, but
very uncomfortable
when the symptoms
occur. I`m 1 out
10,000 men in the
country who have it.
It is a condition
called Proctalgia
fugax which is
episodic rectal pain
caused by spasm of
the levator ani
muscle.
The way this
condition works is,
it attacks while
sleeping usually 30
to 60 minutes into
your sleep. Then the
pain becomes so
severe it causes
cold tingles on my
skin, my hearing
goes silent, and my
sight starts to
white out. The only
way to control it,
is by sitting in a
hot bath until the
pain goes away.
Sometimes it can
take hours before it
goes away. This does
become a long night
for me at times. My
case is more severe
because I can get an
attack during the
day which is
uncommon since it
the attacks happened
while you are
sleeping.
In the last month I
have been taking the
L-arginine,
and Pro (each
twice a day). In the
last couple of days
the attacks have
tried to come back,
but did not. I
believe these two
products have helped
prevent the attacks.
I felt like I needed
to share this with
you guys. Because I
have been dealing
with this for almost
over 15 years. If
this gets published
some where in Agel
and if this can help
just 1 person that
would be totally
cool. I can not take
anything to sleep
because of my
attacks. So both
these products
combined help me
deal with my
situation. Thanks
